Privacy Policy for Cabinets by Precision Works
Effective date: October 23, 2026
1. Who we are
This website, cabinetsbyprecision.com (the “Site”), is run by Cabinets by Precision Works Inc., doing business as Cabinets by Precision (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are a custom cabinetry company based in Indio, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact or quote forms, call us, or email us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, project type, cabinet options, budget range, timeline, and any details you choose to write.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and your approximate location (city level, taken from your IP address).
- What we do not want. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information through our forms. We do not need them to answer an inquiry.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, schedule a consultation, and deliver and service your project.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text, or email.
- To send you marketing messages, only if you ask for them or opt in.
- To understand how the Site is used so we can improve it (see section 5).
- To measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, only if you accept marketing cookies (see section 5).
- To protect the Site and our forms from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting, and licensing requirements.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. If you accept marketing cookies, we share limited browsing information with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through the Meta Pixel so we can measure and improve our advertising, as described in section 5. California law may treat that as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you can opt out at any time (see sections 5 and 7). Apart from that, we share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting and security, email delivery, and Google (for analytics, spam protection, and fonts). These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, and it may transfer to a buyer if our business is sold or merged.
5. Cookies, analytics, and your choices
When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose your preferences. Two kinds of cookies are always present: a small cookie that remembers your choice, and a few cookies from our web host’s site-speed monitoring (names beginning with “_tccl” and “_scc”). Everything else depends on your choice:
- Analytics. If you accept, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure visits: which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device (names beginning with “_ga”). If you reject, these cookies are not set.
- Marketing. If you accept marketing cookies (or accept all), we load the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, actions you take on the Site, your IP address, and browser and device details, and Meta may set cookies such as “_fbp” on your device. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link this to your account. We do not intentionally send your name, phone number or email address to Meta. If you reject, the Pixel does not load and these cookies are not set.
- Before you choose. Our Google tags start in a “denied” state and do not set analytics cookies. Google may still receive limited signals that do not use cookies, such as the page address and browser type.
- Changing your mind. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy button at the bottom of the page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. You can also install Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To manage how Meta uses your information for ads, use the ad settings in your Facebook and Instagram accounts.
To learn how Google handles information, see policies.google.com/privacy. To learn how Meta handles information, see facebook.com/privacy/policy.
6. Forms and spam protection
Information you submit through our forms is sent to us by email and may also be stored in our website. Our forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
7. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we disclose it to (the right to know);
- delete personal information we hold about you, with some exceptions the law allows;
- correct personal information that is wrong;
- stop sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not sell it, and the only sharing is the Meta Pixel described in section 5, which loads only if you accept marketing cookies), and limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it through the Site for any purpose beyond providing our services).
We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email info@cabinetsbyprecision.com or call (760) 342-1133. We will need enough information to confirm your identity, usually by matching details you gave us earlier. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We aim to respond within 45 days.
In the past 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address); customer and commercial information (project type, cabinet options, budget, timeline); internet activity (pages viewed, referring page); and approximate location. We collected them from you and from your browser, for the purposes in section 3, and we disclosed them for business purposes only to the service providers described in section 4. We did not sell personal information in that period, and before October 23, 2026 we did not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California Civil Code section 1798.83 also lets California residents ask which personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not make those disclosures.
8. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, warranty, and record-keeping duties. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
The Site links to other websites, such as Yelp and social media pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
12. Do Not Track
Browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no common standard for it, so the Site does not currently respond to it. The Meta Pixel loads only if you accept marketing cookies, and you can opt out at any time with the privacy button at the bottom of the page. You can also still make any request listed in section 7.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Please check back from time to time.
